Task 44 in the IAEE conference

The International Association of Energy Economics (IAEE) aims to bridge the latest scientific advances in energy economics and its relevance to practical experiences in the energy sector. At the 1st online conference in June 2021, energy economists, policymakers and business leaders from around the world, from San Francisco to Tokyo were brought together to address energy security, promoting universal access to affordable energy services, and fostering greener and more sustainable energy systems while taking into account geopolitical and economic dimensions. Fabian Schipfer presented, on behalf of Task 44, the need and potential impact of integrating flexibilization throughout bioeconomy supply chains in energy system modeling.
